Hello,

My name is Dr. LeAngela Rogers. I am the principal of Chattanooga Central High School. It is my honor to lead a school that is dedicated to the academic success and safety of all students. 24-25 is my first year as principal at Central. My previous experience of over 20 years has concentrated in many roles at the middle school level. Most recently I was principal at Hixson Middle School for 12 years. I am excited for the opportunity to move to the “big leagues” (a.k.a. high school) as my former supervisor put it.

My personal philosophy of education is that it must be a team effort for every student to reach their maximum potential. It takes the student, their family, and the school working together to help the student reach his/her goals and become productive members of society. I believe that it is my responsibility to be open to families and students; to listen and respond in the best interest of students.
